10:58 a.m. So a whole two weeks go by. Where was I, I might ask. Where am I now?

1:22 p.m. And then a couple of days sift through the fingers, and still I ask: What's going on here?

1:22 a.m. And then a computer crash of major proportions and I am chagrinned and feeling pretty fragile -- and ironically, I really want to post something so you won't worry.

The room is finished and the sill is almost back to normal. I'm typing this entry, for the first time in my life, in a text editor because I can't get my trusty old Homepage to come up on the screen. Suffice it to say: never try to play with a scuzzy series of dohickies.

Now, I will try to post this entry and go back to the repair and retrieval of my hard drive. For now, I've also lost something like 10,000 fonts. Yes. Ten thousand.

Give or take.
